SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

The Zonta Club of Hanalei is dedicated to achieving gender equality in education and supports scholarships for women and girls of all ages. Since 2009 the club has funded nearly $200,000 to deserving women and girls of Kauai.  Candidates are thoroughly screened and personally interviewed by our Scholarship Committees.  Women are selected based on financial need, clarity of goals, volunteer work, and academic performance. We are one of the few organizations on island that provide aide to post high school students.  A number of our recipients have received aide throughout all four years of college.

BARB BATLEY VOCATIONAL TRAINING SCHOLARSHIP

The Barb Batley Scholarship is tailored to the needs of those pursuing vocational certification and /or licensing.

Each Scholarship is worth $2,000.00.  Applications are available on - line and may be submitted throughout the year.

Scholarship Applications for the 2025-2026 academic year are now closed.  


Scholarships are for women graduating or graduated from high school and university students pursuing a Bachelor or Associate Degree, are eligible.
